Getty Museum
"ArtWorks"
When
the Getty opened its new museum in
Los Angeles
in 2000 they wanted to tell the story behind the scenes at
the museum, the story of the amazing work done all over the
world by its five institutes and grant program.
Working
directly with the staff of the president of the museum, we
traveled from the
Gobi
desert and the
Himalaya Mountains
to
Paris
and
New York
filming some of their most important projects.
In the end we produced a film in which each of the
programs within the institutes is shot in a unique style
designed to reflect its essence.
“ArtWorks”
is shown five times a day in the museum’s 500 seat theater
to museum patrons and guests who wish to learn more about
the museum.
